Positions Vacant : Chef / Sous Chef (Broome NT Australia)

URGENT - Our client is a well-known Seafood Restaurant in Broome and they are looking for a talented chef / senior cook to join their team and start working as soon as possible.

This busy restaurant on the wharf offers Alfresco dining with beautiful views of the Bay. Restaurant hours are from 10am to 10pm, seven days a week serving both take-aways as well as sit-down meals.  Work will therefore include day & night shifts as well as weekend shifts. 

To apply for the job, applicants should be able to show at least 5 years’ work experience in a restaurant in a leading position as a cook or a formal qualification as a chef. 

Duties will include preparing meals for a la carte menu and packing the meals for take-away to serving meals to patron on-site.

Reporting directly to the Owners of the Restaurant you will be required to fulfil all relevant Kitchen tasks and be fluent in all aspects of kitchen operations, budgeting rosters, menu costs and supervising kitchen staff as well as providing training.

The position is available for immediate start on a full time basis and the owners are happy to negotiate start date, hours, wage and circumstances with the right candidate.

Fully Qualified Chef's or experienced senior Cooks only need only apply for this positionExperience in Japanese cooking will be highly regarded.
